7 Days to Die Machete | How to Get
If you want to carve your way through the zombie apocalypse in style, 7 Days to Die has the options for you. From the most high-powered guns to the smallest of shivs, you can make most things work with a dedicated build. Somewhere in the middle of viability is the machete, a 7 Days to Die weapon that serves you well as a knife. However, it isn’t too easy to find one laying around in the wild. If you want to make this thing work as best as possible, we can help you out.
How to Get a Machete in 7 Days to Die
If you want to craft a machete in 7 Days to Die, you will need 10 Forged Steel, 10 Wood, 3 Leather, 3 Duct Tape, and 5 Machete Parts at a workbench. If you want a higher quality Machete, you will need up to three times the number of materials. The Parts must be purchased from a Trader, looted from weapon chests or tool parts, or obtained from quest rewards. This knife is a quick, low-power melee weapon and can be used as a butchering item to farm animals.
The part that’s rough about this weapon type is finding the parts. Because they need parts, you’ll need to farm missions and chests to find them. Most Machete rewards will be of low quality, so feel free to scrap them for their parts. You will only want to do this if you have Deep Cuts perk levels, so think before you break it down!
The Machete of 7 Days to Die works passably as a melee weapon because of its solid mods. Serrated Blade, Burning Shaft, and Fortifying Grip can help you deal damage or stay alive on the front lines.
It shines best when you have high levels of Deep Cuts, which apply a bleeding debuff on your enemy and slows them down. With enough investment, the Machete becomes a very viable weapon and a potent tool. Just be sure to farm missions for the parts you need to make high-durability weapons.
