Assassin's Creed Valhalla Builder how to beat

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla | How to Beat the Builder Boss

In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, one of the first bosses that you have to beat in Asgard is the Builder. Being that the Builder is one of the first godly bosses you face off against in the game, you might not know how to approach this fight. Luckily, we’ve got some advice for you!

How to Beat the Builder Boss Fight

The Builder is an archetypical slow but heavy boss. This means that you should be able to see the Builder’s attacks coming and dodge them. However, if the Builder still manages to land a shot on you, then you are going to be in some trouble. Just a few hits from this guy are enough to completely drain your health bar and send you back to square one with him.

The easiest and most obvious answer to beat the Builder is to avoid his powerful attacks and hit him from range. This can be pretty boring and risky though, as you are always at risk of taking damage from him throughout this pretty time intensive strategy.

A more interesting thing that you can try is to wait for one of the Builder’s attacks that launch you into the air. While in mid-air you can still attack with your bow. While falling in slow motion, aim for the very top of the Builder’s head. Landing an arrow at this target will stun the Builder. The stun last’s long enough for you to land back on the ground and get a few more hits in with your weapon of choice.

This tactic works for both the first and seconds phases of the Builder’s boss fight. There are a few other options that you have to make this fight easier on you. The first is that there will be a glowing light in the center of the arena that you fight the Builder after certain attacks. Interacting with this will give you a boost of power for a limited time.

After interacting with the light, you need to hit the Builder while you are still glowing. Doing this will not only deal a ton of damage but also stun him, opening him up for even more attacks.
