Best Present to Open in Fortnite Chapter 3

Fortnite Chapter 3 is finally here, with a holiday theme to boot. This Winterfest event is jam-packed with festive treats, including presents to open from Santa’s Lodge each day. These gifts range from new skins to emotes and gun cams — so which is the best present to open?

What’s the Best Present to Open in Fortnite?

In the current Fortnite Winterfest event, the best present to open is undoubtedly the second gift along, an upright golden box. It contains a brand-new skin for Krisabelle, making it one of the most valuable presents in the game.

The good news is that the contents of each present are concrete and the same for all players, so by this point we know what’s in each parcel. Since you can only open one gift per 24 hours, you’ll definitely want to start with the golden gift box. There are two new skins in Wintermas, with Krisabelle the only one currently available. Since that would be worth more V-Bucks in the Item Shop, it’s definitely the one to go for.

Of course, if you are already happy with your current skins in Fortnite, there are other presents worth opening. Another highlight for the best present to open includes the Sentinel glider, which looks a bit like the Xenomorph from Alien. You open that from the green parcel that’s furthest left in the second batch of presents. That’s a unique style to add to your inventory and is one of the few items without a Christmas theme.

Since there are 13 presents up for grabs, you’ll have plenty of time to open them all. Equally, a few presents are currently frozen in ice and inaccessible. However, they’ll be unlocked as we approach December 25, so they should contain something very exciting as well.
