Bloodstained Ritual of the Night has tons of different hidden items scattered around the map. Some are easy to find, some are not. One of the harder hidden items is the Bloodstained Simmered Forneus recipe. You’ll need this recipe to make a tasty dish that will help boost Miriam’s stats, which will be quite helpful later on during the game. Let’s take a look at where to find the Simmered Forneus recipe book!
Bloodstained Simmered Forneus Recipe | Simmered Forneus recipe book location
Finding the yummy fish based dish may prove to be a little challenging, but won’t be too difficult compared to some other things you’ll have to do in the game. The Simmered Forneus recipe book can be found in the Forbidden Underground Waterway.
The Forbidden Underground Waterway is a water-based location and is filled with tons of enemies. You’ll get to it after you have drained the Blood Fountain. It’s not the easiest place to navigate, so be careful!
To find the Simmered Forneus recipe book location, head to the entrance teleport and then go down the waterway. You’ll eventually come across a sloped room filled with elevators. Keep going past that room into a smaller room filled with Buers and Toads.
You won’t be able to get to the book unless you have unlocked the Inverted or High Jump, so you’ll want to keep that in mine.
Once you find the recipe book, you’ll need a couple of different items to craft Simmered Forneus. First, you’ll need a Forneus Filet, which is dropped by the Forneus enemy (also found in the Forbidden Underground Waterway).
Next, you’ll need some soy sauce, if you don’t have any, then check out our Bloodstained soy sauce guide. Finally, you’ll need to get some sugar, which you can buy from Dominique for 100G.
Put all of those items together and you’ll have yourself a yummy fish dish!
