Destiny 2 Imperial Decree | How to Get
Aside from an exciting new subclass, the Destiny 2 Lightfall expansion reintroduced many sunset weapons. Sunset weapons are firearms that have been nerfed and have a power level cap. The reason for this is that when they were first introduced, they could simply be infused too much, to the point of being far too powerful. However, thanks to the revamped set of perks in the Lightfall expansion, some are making a comeback. The Imperial Decree shotgun is one such weapon, so read on to find out how to get it!
How to Get Imperial Decree in Destiny 2
To get the Imperial Decree shotgun in Destiny 2, you need to get your hands on two Defiant Engrams. You can earn these by playing the new Defiant Battlegrounds mode, or as a reward for grinding the Season Pass. Once you’ve got two Defiant Engrams, head over to the War Table at the H.E.L.M. From there, interact with it and select “Defiant Engram Decoding” and then “Recovered Levethian Weapons”. You’ll get either the Imperial Decree or a sword.
Since there is a chance you can also get the class sword, we recommend stocking up on more than two Defiant Engrams before making your war to the War Table in the H.E.L.M. At the same time, you’ll want them to help you get a good roll for the Imperial Decree. Obviously, the greater the perks, the more powerful this gun will be in both PvE and PvP. Furthermore, you may be looking for specific perks from a roll so that you can concentrate on using this shotgun in PvE or PvP.
Currently, the Imperial Decree is making a name for itself as one of the best Kinetic shotguns in the game. It also has the Aggressive Frame Trait, which may cause a slower fire rate, but on the upside, much higher damage. As a result, with the right roll of perks, the Imperial Decree can be a killing machine in close-quarters combat.
