Destiny 2 Quicksilver Storm - How to Get

Lightfall, Destiny 2’s most recent and exciting expansion, has added a plethora of new content to the game. From a completely new subclass to an arsenal of new weapons. One of these new weapons that players are eager to get their hands on is the Quicksilver Storm. Not only does this new exotic auto rifle look cool, but to many players’ surprise, also doubles as a mini-grenade launcher with the right perks. So, read on to find out how to get it.

How to Get Quicksilver Storm in Destiny 2

To get the Quicksilver Storm in Destiny 2, you need to have purchased the Lightfall Expansion as well as the Annual Pass Bundle. Once you have this pass, simply go to Rahool in The Tower and he’ll gladly hand over the Quicksilver Storm as well as the other items included with the pass. Unfortunately, there is no other way to obtain the Quicksilver Storm; you must purchase the Annual Pass Bundle to obtain it.

Though that is a bit of a letdown, there’s a strong argument that it’s worth the investment once you consider the Quicksilver Storm’s perks. Its intrinsic exotic perk, Rocket Tracers, turns one of your next shots into a mini-homing missile, after landing multiple hits on an enemy. Its unique Trait, Grenade Chase, activates an alternate grenade launcher firing mode after you’ve strung together a few Rocket Tracer shots. So essentially, this auto rifle doubles as a grenade launcher at the same time.

With that in mind, it’s pretty enticing to purchase the Annual Pass Bundle in order to get the Quicksilver Storm. At the same time, it’s a pity that this rifle is locked behind a micro-transaction and that there’s no other way for players to earn it. However, if you’ve been playing Destiny 2 for a while, this should come as no surprise at this point in the game’s seventh major expansion.
