Disney Dreamlight Valley Hardwood | How to Get
At times, Disney Dreamlight Valley can have you running around in circles hunting for certain materials. After all, the Valley needs fixing and we’re here to get it back up to par. Hardwood is one resource you’ll need a lot of to do that. Not to be mistaken with softwood, hardwood is a distinct material that is more difficult to obtain than its counterpart. That’s why you’ll want to know the best way to farm hardwood in abundance. Fortunately, we can help.
How to Get Hardwood in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Hardwood appears as a reddish-brown pile of branches found under trees in many regions of Disney Dreamlight Valley. You can come find it in the Glade of Trust, Forest of Valor, Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and the Forgotten Lands. However, the probability of it spawning under trees in each of these locations is entirely random. As a result, you may find yourself running from biome to biome, scanning its forests just to find the resource a couple of times. That is why you’ll want to use a more efficient technique to acquire it.
The best way to farm hardwood is by removing all of the trees in a biome. We know it sounds counterproductive, but trust us, you’ll get those trees back with more fruitful hardwood spawns. You can remove trees by going to your inventory and selecting Furniture, then you can go to any location in the valley, select a tree and use the Remove function. This will store the tree you removed in your furniture inventory. The regions we suggest you first clear out for the most success are the Glade of Trust, Forest of Valor, and Frosted Heights.
Once you’ve cleared one or all of these regions of all of their trees, go around and scavenge all of the softwood and hardwood you can find. By doing this, the region will know it needs to spawn more. Now, with the land bare, you’ll want to grab the smaller plaza trees from your furniture inventory and plant them in an orderly fashion in each region. We suggest planting about 8 to 10 in the regions you’ve cleared out.
Now, with this setup, it will ensure hardwood only spawns under the new trees you planted. Not only will this result in the hardwood spawning more frequently, but it will be easier to find as it will only spawn under the trees you’ve planted. Saving you the hassle of running around each biome and hoping to come across the resource.
