There are loads of delicious desserts to cook in Disney Dreamlight Valley, from tasty pies to cookies worthy of legend. However, some of the best desserts are the simplest, such as Vanilla Ice Cream. And, while we might just whip out the ice cream spoon at home, in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you have to make it from scratch. This can be challenging, so we’ll show you how to do it in this guide.
How to Make Vanilla Ice Cream in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To make Vanilla Ice Cream in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll need one of each ingredient: Slush Ice, Milk, Sugarcane, and Vanilla. Milk is the easiest of all, which you can get as an ingredient in Remy’s Restaurant. You can buy Sugarcane Seeds from Goffy’s Stall at Dazzle Beach, then you just need to grow them. However, you’ll have to buy Dazzle Beach for 1,000 Star Coins and set up Goofy’s stall before you can purchase them if you haven’t already done so.
Next are our two key ingredients, Slush Ice and Vanilla. You can’t buy Vanilla from Goofy’s Stall or Remy’s Restaurant. The only way to obtain the wild plant is to find it in Sunlit Plateau, which shouldn’t be too difficult after a little searching. Slush Ice is the last ingredient on our list and the most difficult to get. This ingredient is only available after finishing The Unknown Flavor, Remy’s final quest before reaching level 10 Friendship with him.
So, you will have to do all of Remy’s quests in order to get Slush Ice. But once you do, it will remain unlocked forever and available for purchase for 150 Star Coins at Remy’s Restaurant. You can then sell Vanilla Ice Cream for 688 Star Coins. Which is one of the most profitable desserts in the game, evidently also why it is so hard to make.
