Do You Need PS Plus to Play Fall Guys

Do You Need PS Plus to Play Fall Guys?

Fall Guys is the latest craze in the battle-royale genre and tasks players with surviving obstacles round after round in hopes of being the last one standing. In this goofy twist to the genre, players will face off against others, defy gravity, and play as loveable, goofy characters while trying to survive. With the game currently available on Steam and PlayStation 4, a lot of players are wondering, do you need PS Plus to play Fall Guys?

Does Fall Guys Require PS Plus?

Yes, you do need PS Plus to play Fall Guys on a PlayStation 4. However, the game is free to download for those with an active membership, so you won’t have to pay the $20 price tag. This means that if you’d like to try out the game and currently have a PlayStation Plus membership, you can play for free. On the other hand, if you don’t have an active membership, you can get a one month card for $10 and download the game for free and try it out.

If you’re not familiar with the game, Fall Guys pits up to 60 players against each other in an online, free-for-all survival match where every round features new obstacles that players will need to survive if they want to obtain the crown. The cartoony characters give a lighthearted vibe to the game, offering a fun, goofy experience for most players.

The game is also available on Steam for $20 and does not require any type of online subscription. Currently, there are no public plans to bring Fall Guys to Xbox One or the Nintendo Switch, however, since it is quickly gaining popularity, it’s possible we could see it release on other platforms in the future.

Fall Guys released to massive success this August, with hitting nearly 125,000 players on Steam last week. The game is the most successful launch for Devolver Digital to date and is showing no signs of stopping anytime soon. So, now that you know that you do need PS Plus to play Fall Guys, be sure to grab a subscription and check it out!
