Fortnite Chapter 3 Launchpad | Where to Find

Fortnite Chapter 3 is bringing along a ton of new content for players to explore. In addition to the new map, Chapter 3 introduces us to more lore with the many quests to complete. One such quest, “Receive Your Next Objective at the Launchpad”, tasks the player with locating Launchpad and destroying signal jammers. Some are wondering where to find this location, for it doesn’t appear on the map as a landmark. Luckily, finding this location will be incredibly simple to do.

Where is the Launchpad in Fortnite Chapter 3

Fortnite Chapter 3 Where to Find Launchpad

The Launchpad is located on the east side of The Island within a ring of fire of smaller circles. Look for the giant statue of The Foundation (or The Rock, to some), and the Launchpad will be behind it. It is comprised of a few rocket launch pads, so it shouldn’t be hard to miss at all. It’s also the biggest island out of the other ones within its vicinity.

Once you land, however, you’ll receive an incoming transmission from someone who is working on a retrieval rocket for “wartime essentials.” In order to send the rocket out, the voice will inform you of your next objective. Destroy three signal jammers that are on the Launchpad island.

There are a few around, but I found my three jammers along the shoreline. All you need to do is wack them with your pickaxe, and the quest will be completed. You’ll get 25,000 XP for your work, which is quite handy for the start of Chapter 3.

While working through the quest, you might run into a problem, and that is the other players who land by you. It took me two matches to complete the quest only because someone kept gunning me down when I was making my way toward the signal jammers.

If you’re looking to just finish up the quest without trouble, crouching around your enemies might be your best bet. That is unless you’re feeling heroic and risky and decide to go guns blazing, then more power to you. And with the new sliding mechanic, you might have the edge in combat. At most, you’ll run into a couple of opponents, so don’t expect the Launchpad Island to be crowded with players.
