Whopperflower

Genshin Impact Whopperflower Locations | Where to Find

Genshin Impact‘s massive world can be a headache sometimes. There are some creatures that are just so rare. And even worse, some of those creatures have critical upgrade and ascension materials! Perhaps the most infamous of these creatures are the Whopperflower. These are relatively weak creatures, but they hold great materials… If only they were consistent to find! Thankfully, we’ve got you covered. Here are the best places to farm Whopperflowers.

Where to Find Whopperflower Locations in Genshin Impact

In order to farm Whopperflowers, it’s first important to know that these guys can spawn anywhere. They are hard enemies that can appear in both Mondstadt and Liyue… Which is everywhere, right now. Just look for their stellar three-leaf head design and their floating crystals, and they’ll be relatively easy to notice. Your best option is to teleport between spawn points, run around for a bit, and then teleport again to reset the world spawns.

These guys drop nectars, varying slightly depending on their level. At level 1-40, they drop Whopperflower Nectar. At level 40+, they drop Shimmering Nectar, and finally at level 60+, they drop Energy Nectar. These are ascension materials for Keqing, Mona, and Sucrose, who are all high-tier heroes.

Right now, there’s only Pyro Whopperflowers or Cryo Whopperflowers, and they each do essentially the same thing. While hunting, be careful of its melee range-AoE since it can do a ton of damage to squishy melee damage dealers. If you see it consuming a crystal, it will get a shield. Break that shield to stun it and wallop on it for 20 seconds. Finally, once it’s out of crystals, it dives underground to regenerate the crystals. This looks like it’ll do an area of effect, but this is mostly cosmetic.

After a few attempts to take these things down, you will be more than capable of annihilating them as their tells are pretty simple and they don’t do too much damage. Have a good hunt!
