Goat Simulator 3 | How to Melt the Ice
Goat Simulator 3 is full of hidden quests and gags. Some of these will unlock an achievement or items for you to wear, while others simply aim to make you laugh. Nonetheless, one that has many players scratching their heads is the giant blob of ice that rests on the mountain next to Goatenburg. This actually pertains to the secret Global Warming event. To finish it, you must melt the ice, much as the name implies. Here’s what you need to do to make that happen.
How to Melt the Ice in Goat Simulator 3
To melt the ice in Goat Simulator 3, you need to get on top of the tallest building in Goatenburg. The building itself obviously stands out as the tallest in the city, and you can climb it using the air vents and scaffolding surrounding it. Once you reach the roof, you’ll notice a giant golden globe on a huge pedestal. Headbutt the globe to set off a chain of events that will melt the ice. Each hit will rotate it, so keep headbutting the globe until you trigger a cutscene.
The cutscene will show a beam of light that is bouncing off the globe and hitting the ice, therefore melting it. That’s all it takes to melt the ice. After the cutscene, you’ll complete the secret Global Warming event. Now you can make your way over to the ice, where you’ll find a UFO that was encased within.
The UFO will have some slime oozing out of it. It doesn’t do much aside from make things bouncy. Nonetheless, go ahead and have some fun with it after completing the achievement.
While most players are pretty ambitious to melt the ice, it doesn’t really result in much else other than a hidden achievement. However, that’s often the case with Goat Simulator 3, and you won’t know unless you find out.
