From the early notion, God of War Ragnarok is shaping up to be a worthy sequel to its predecessor as well as another game of the year contender. The vast and atmospheric world that you gradually uncover as you progress through the game’s main story and numerous side missions is a huge part of the game’s appeal. One mission, in particular, requires you to search every nook and cranny of the map for an Elven Cap that is hidden in a specific location. If you’re having trouble finding it, this guide will steer you to its precise location.
Where to Find the Elven Cap in God of War Ragnarok
Before you can go searching for the Elven Cap, you need to unlock the “Across the Realms” favor. You unlock this favor by discovering the book that’s resting on the ground at the Eternal Campfire. Once you have the “Across the Realms” favor, you’ll need to unlock the Forbidden Sands area in order to find the Eleven Cap. To unlock the Forbidden Sands, you need to complete the Song of the Sands favor that you get in the Barrens Region.
Once you’ve unlocked the Forbidden Sands, to find the Elven Cap, you need to head to The Burrows sub-area in the region. Once you’re at The Burrows, continue west until you find a fallen pillar that’s resting on a rock. There will be a pink/red marking on the rock to help distinguish you’re in the right spot.
Go under and out to the other side of the Pillar, then take a right. The Elven Cap will be resting directly to the right, once you cross the other side of the pillar, in front of some rocks. It will look like a yellow glowing orb, and frankly, you can’t miss it. Now, all you have to do is walk up to the Elven Cap and interact with it to pick it up. Doing so will complete this portion of the quest and it will update with a new task to carry onto.
