With that said, these legendary beasts aren’t all that easy to find and tame. Nonetheless, if you’re determined on getting one, we’ll tell you how to do so below. So keep reading to learn how!
Where to Find a Graphorn in Hogwarts Legacy
You can find the Graphorn den in Hogwarts Legacy in the furthest most southeastern part of the map, near Clagmar Coasts. However, the den icon won’t become available until you begin the San Baker’s Trial quest, which unfortunately is one of the last main story quests. So, it will be a while before you can find and tame a Graphorn. On the other hand, The good news is that this quest is entirely dedicated to that purpose.
During this quest, Professor Fig will give you the wild idea to go tame the “Lord of the Shore”. He’s referring to a notorious Graphorn, and to tame the creature you must defeat it. The Graphorn den will appear as a paw print in a circle icon. It is the one that sits in the far southeast corner of the map, near Calgmar Coasts. Once you’ve found the den, head in and prepare for a fight.
While the Graphorn fight isn’t necessarily hard, the creature doe’s have a lot of health. As a result, it will be a long and monotonous fight. Once you take down the Graphorn, you’ll be presented with two options, to either “Kneel” or “Attack”. Whichever path you take, the end result is the same: you’ll unlock the Graphorn and be able to tame and mount the magical beasts.
