Hogwarts Legacy | Is There New Game Plus?
Students in Hogwarts Legacy are certainly eager to continue their adventures once classes conclude for the year. After learning a variety of unique spells, defeating Dark Wizards, and exploring the lands beyond Hogwarts, it appears that the journey ultimately comes to an end. With such a magical open world to fully embrace, dedicated students wish to remain at the titular castle. Therefore, can players expect a New Game Plus feature to show up once they’re close to leaving the Hogwarts Legacy experience? Keep reading on to find out!
Does Hogwarts Legacy Have New Game Plus?
Unfortunately, Hogwarts Legacy doesn’t contain any New Game Plus features once the magical adventure ends. Once classes are done and enemies have been dealt with, and it’s time for summer to take over for the season. Of course, Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world title after all. It follows the traditional open-world aspect of allowing the players to fully explore the game’s unique setting.
This basically translates into total freedom. Taking your broom out for a ride is quite serene, but it’s also useful in times when you’re ready to tackle an activity. This also includes any side quests that you might have passed up beforehand. With the Merlin Trials, special Gear, Room of Requirement collectibles, and Floo Flames to attend to, there’s plenty of wizardry fun to have on the side.
Alternatively, you can embark on another Hogwarts Legacy journey by starting as a new student in a different House. We have Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin, each with their own Common Rooms, House colors, and special quests. For example, only Hufflepuff students will be able to visit Azkaban, the notorious prison located within the North Sea. No other House will get a chance to see the Dementors.
Additionally, you can try out different dialogue options to see how other characters react to your decisions. While dialogue may seem unessential in some areas of the game, certain choices will lead to potentially missed opportunities. The Avada Kedavra spell comes to mind since it requires distinctive dialogue decisions to be made. To put it mildly, replay value is relatively high here at Hogwarts.
