Since its initial release on September 30, 2021, Hot Wheels Unleashed has delivered a number of additions and changes. Aside from the usual patch notes and gameplay updates, the Milestone-developed title brought forth more content as time passed on. Additional cars were added, new tracks were installed, and the fun remained untouched. After being available to the public, Hot Wheels Unleashed didn’t launch onto the Game Pass service despite word that it would appear as one. Some time has passed and we still ask, can we expect those famous orange tracks to pop up under Xbox’s online entertainment umbrella?

Happily, Hot Wheels Unleashed is arriving on the Game Pass service this February 7, 2023. Furthermore, Xbox players will get to experience the Game of the Year Edition of Hot Wheels Unleashed. Console, PC, and Cloud users can jump into the action on the aforementioned date, with pre-installation now accessible.

The Game Pass app is reportedly launching the title the day before, on February 6. Regardless, racing and toy car enthusiasts can buckle up for some outstanding loops when it finally becomes part of the service.

The Game of the Year Edition comes equipped with all downloadable content, which is to say is quite a package. This GOTY Edition contains the HOT WHEELS Pass Vol. 1, 2, and 3. You can expect a diverse range of characters/vehicles to rev up their engines, including Batman, fighters from Street Fighter, some of the Looney Tunes, and more. There are other add-ons that players can download which are separate from the Passes, such as holiday packs and exclusive cars.

Xbox Game Pass owners will be receiving the entire experience of Hot Wheels Unleashed. As detailed in the previous notes, they’ll have access to just about everything that the game has to offer. Although the Game Pass service does drop some titles within a specific period of time (or for other unknown reasons), there is currently no exit date for this racing title. The very existence of the GOTY Edition makes this the perfect time to jump into the miniature thrill of Hot Wheels Unleashed.

Hot Wheels Unleashed is available now for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
