How to Fast Travel in Ori and the Will of the Wisps
As players journey through the vast world of Ori and the Will of the Wisps, they’ll likely begin to wonder if they can transport from place to place. If you’ve been wondering how to fast travel in Ori and the Will of the Wisps, then you’ve come to the right place.
How to Fast Travel in Ori and the Will of the Wisps
To fast travel in Ori and the Will of the Wisps, you’ll need to speak with Grom in Wellspring Glades. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to reach Grom until you’ve played the game for a few hours. Once you’ve met Grom, you’ll need to pay him one piece of Gorlek Ore to repair the Spirit Well.
Once you’ve paid Grom the Ore, he will repair the Spirit Wells, allowing you to unlock the fast travel ability. From now on, whenever you visit a new Spirit Well, you’ll be able to travel back to it whenever you’d like.
If you’re not familiar with Gorlek Ore, it looks like a glowing triangle and is colored blue. Odds are you’ve found some by now, but if not, you’ll typically find it off of the main path hiding in a cranny. Some will be obvious, while others will be a bit more difficult to track down.
To fast travel in Ori and the Will of the Wisps, simply open up your map and find a Spirit Well. You can even set your map to only show only Sprit Wells by pressing X on an Xbox One. Once you’ve found the Spirit Well you’d like to travel to, simply hover over it and hold down A (XB1) to warp to it.
Now, as your map grows bigger and bigger, you’ll be able to quickly travel to different areas as you please. This should be a great benefit to you as you begin to uncover more and more regions. Running back and forth, avoiding enemies along the way, will get old quickly, so we suggest unlocking fast travel sooner rather than later.
As you begin to collect more Gorlek Ore, you’ll be able to visit Grom again to unlock more “conveniences.” For example, for five pieces of Ore, you can have all the thorns removed, which will allow you to explore even more nooks and crannies. As you make your way through the game, you’ll be able to unlock similar things.
