Ori and the Will of the Wisps offers players tons of unique abilities and skills that they can unlock during their journey back home. As you start the game, you’ll have three lives and energy cells available to you. However, as enemies increase in difficulty and exploring becomes more dangerous, you’ll likely want to know how to get more health in Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
How To Get More Health in Ori and the Will of the Wisps
As you begin your journey back home, you’ll start the game off with three life cells and three energy cells. However, as you might expect, you can earn more health over time by talking to a special NPC. Visiting the NPC will allow you to use Spirit Shards to purchase the necessary upgrades.
To get more health in Ori and the Will of the Wisps, you’ll need to talk to Twillen, a mystery salesman. You’ll first find him at the very beginning of Kwolok’s Hollow, as seen on the map below. Twillen will appear more places on the map as you progress through the game.
Simply speak to Twillen and he will offer you a couple of different upgrades in exchange for Spirit Shards. To increase your life and energy cells from three to four, you’ll need a total of 400 Spirit Shards, as each upgrade will be 200 each.
You can also gain health in Ori and the Will of the Wisps naturally by progressing through the game. For example, after you explore Kwolok’s Hollow for a while, eventually you’ll meet Kwolok himself, a giant frog who controls the marsh. He will give you a fragment of ancient light, known as a Wisp, which will increase your overall life and energy cells, giving you more health bars.
