Tony Hawk Pro Skater Heelflip Trick

How to Heelflip in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2

Now that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 has been released on modern platforms, there are tons of tricks to do on your virtual skateboard as you make your way through the different locations in the game. For those working their way through the School location, to complete the “Heelflip the Kicker Gap” challenge, you’ll obviously need to know how to heelflip in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2. Luckily, we are here to help.

How to Heelflip on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC

As you make your way through the School location in the game, you’ll find yourself needing to know how to heelflip for the sixth challenge. Unfortunately, it’s not really explained in the game, but once you know the controls, it’s really not hard at all. To heelflip in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, follow the instructions below:

  • Xbox One: Hold A and release A to jump, press right on the D-Pad/Analog Stick and X at the same time while in the air
  • PlayStation 4: Hold X and release X to jump, press right on the D-Pad/Analog Stick and Square at the same time while in the air
  • PC: Hold and release the space bar to jump, press D and the left arrow key at the same time while in the air

If you’re trying to complete the “Heelflip the Kicker Gap” challenge at the school, then you’ll need to know where to find the Kicker Gap in addition to how to heelflip. Thankfully, it’s not hard to locate and can be found in the main courtyard. You’ll want to look for two large reddish ramps that are close to the building. Simply perform a heelflip while jumping over the gap and you’ll be good to go for the challenge.

After that, you’ll need to finish up a few more challenges in the school location to complete that area. Thankfully, they aren’t super difficult and shouldn’t take you very long. If you need more help with the game, be sure to check out some of our other guides.
