How to Revert in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 took a lot of popular mechanics from the old game to make the new even better. That includes combos! Because the Tony Hawk series is based on getting huge combos, it’s a good idea to learn what you’ll need to do to get those combos and by far, the most important point-racking skill is the revert. If you want the points, reverting will get you there. That’s why this guide is all about this super simple trick!
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 | How to Revert
In order to revert in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2, you must hit the input button listed below right when you hit the ground. This will take some practice and timing, but you will get used to reverting (or quickturning) as you land; these are how you get really huge combos. To revert, use the following buttons:
- Xbox One: LT
- PlayStation 4: L2
- PC: Control
- Generic: Switch/Revert
Use the Generic line as a guide, in case you change your keybinds or controls! Hit that button right before you hit the ground, and your skater should switch stances when they hit the ground. This makes ramps super useful for building up combos!
This feature first appeared in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 and Tony Hawk himself recommended that this combo extender be added into the series. So, it’s pretty important that you figure out this trick. It’s nearly essential, especially if you want to max out your combo points without tearing your hair out.
Reverting is in Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 in order to make these older titles more dynamic. This remake adds a lot that made the series easier to play, and more fun to explore.
