How to Wall Ride in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 remaster has finally arrived and has brought with it tons of tricks for players to perform on their board. One of the main moves you’ll likely find yourself doing more often than not is a wall ride, which can earn you a nice amount of experience points depending on the length of your ride. Unfortunately, figuring out how to wall ride can be a little bit confusing, so we are here to help.

How to Wall Ride on Xbox One and PlayStation 4

As you probably know, during a wall ride, you’ll need to approach the wall and then ride it for as long as you can stay balanced to earn as many points as possible. Unfortunately, the game doesn’t really explain how to do the trick, leaving many confused. To perform a wall ride in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, follow the instructions below.

  • Xbox One: Hold A while approaching a wall, as you’re about to hit the wall release A and press Y
  • PlayStation 4: Hold X while approaching a wall, as you’re about to hit the wall release X and press Triangle

When you start your ride, you’ll see a balance bar appear on your screen. Be sure to keep the arrow as close to the center of the meter as possible to stay balanced on your board. If you think you’re about to lose balance, be sure to jump off the wall and land the trick to receive your points.

If you’re trying to complete the “Wall Ride five Bells at the School” challenge, then you won’t need to worry about riding the wall for a long period of time, as you just need to touch the Bells with your board. If you head to the School, you’ll find all five bells scattered around the location in the alley, by the cafeteria door, along the side of the building, along a red wall, and of course, on the roof of the school.

So now that you know how to wall ride in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2, hop on your board, head to the school, and find those bells! Oh, and while you’re there, you may want to try to do a Boneless.
