Marvel’s Midnight Suns Child of Darkness | How to Complete
When you reach the maximum friendship level with a hero in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, you unlock an exclusive challenge that offers special rewards for that character. However, you being the Hunter, are also a hero and as a result, you can do this challenge much earlier for your own character than the other heroes. This special challenge for the Hunter is known as the Child of Darkness Challenge and it unlocks Hunter’s legendary combat suit and a legendary heroic ability. How to Complete the Child of Darkness Challenge
To complete the Child of Darkness Challenge in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, you need to defeat three Whisper of Memory enemies and the Red Crystal. However, this is a difficult task considering you only have access to the Hunter on the battlefield, and they cannot move or use combat items. Furthermore, you have a limited amount of cards to get the job done with. This means you have to execute your attacks in the correct order.
Here’s how to use the Charge cards correctly to complete the Child of Darkness Challenge:
- Use Charge on the enemy directly to your left in front of the pillar. Aim the attack furthest to the right, which will knock them back but not kill them.
- Now use Charge on the furthest enemy (to the left of the enemy you just knocked back) to knock them into the wall and kill them.
- Use Charge again on the first enemy who is now right next to you. But now aim it furthest to the left, to hit them in between the rock rubble. Again, this will just knock them back, not kill them.
- Now use Charge on the enemy to the far right (back where you spawned) to knock them into the wall and kill them.
- Now use Charge on the last enemy, knocking them back to the crystal but not killing them.
- Now you can use the Whip card to fling the enemy into the crystal, killing both.
- Lastly, you need to use Bladestorm on the Black Crystal that spawns behind you.
Once you use Bladestorm on the Black Crystal, you’ll complete the Child of Darkness challenge. As a result, you’ll get Hunter’s legendary combat suit and a legendary Bladestorm heroic ability as a reward.
