How to Get Metal Coat in Pokemon Violet

You can get the Metal Coat in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet from the Delibird Presents store in Levincia for 3,000 Pokebucks. You’ll find it under the Battle Items category. Other Delibird Presents stores around the map carry evolution items, too. However, currently, you can only get a Metal Coat from the one in Levincia.

The Delibird Presents store chain in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet is where you find most of the items needed for evolving Pokemon. However, there is a chance you won’t be able to see it on your first visit. That’s because you may need to progress through the game more before you can unlock the item for purchase. Most evolution items in the game require you to have at least three gym badges before they’re unlocked.

Your other option to get a Metal Coat is from potentially finding one in the Overworld, although this requires no shortage of luck. Lastly, you can get a Metal Coat from the Porto Marinada auctions. However, this is also a stroke of luck you’ll see one up for auction. Nonetheless, it’s worth a shot, as buying one from the Delibird Presents store in Levincia can get expensive quickly.
