Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Release Date Accidentally Leaked On Steam

The Star Wars franchise does not have a perfect track record with the most recent mistake being a spoiled reveal. The upcoming Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is still in its early stages, but its undiscussed release date was accidentally published on Steam. EA hasn’t yet listed an official launch date, but the date was listed for March of next year. It’s unclear how the dev team plans to respond to this leak. In the meantime, players await more details about the game and its progress.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Release Date

Star Wars hasn’t always had the best reception among its games. All the same, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order garnered high praise when it was released in 2019. EA noticed this and revealed information for the sequel Stars Wars Jedi: Survivor. However, the studio didn’t intend to share a release date. As stated by Games Radar, for a brief moment on the game’s Steam page, the release date read as March 16, 2023, which is a little more than three months away. Up until this point, the only taste of the game given to the public was a teaser earlier this year. However, with a possible date now exposed, the game’s development may be affected.

Some Star Wars games have tried to remain faithful to the movies, while others have aimed to create original stories. The Star Wars Jedi series is one of them, wanting to give more freedom to the players. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order puts the players into the role of Jedi padawan (apprentice) who managed to survive the Empire’s hostile takeover following Episode III. Now all grown up, you’re free to explore the galaxy developing your character and skills however you see fit. It gave players a more open-ended Star Wars experience which is what contributed to its popularity.

The next exciting EA title thanks to the efforts of Respawn Entertainment is Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, but more has been revealed than was expected. With a glimpse of a March 2023 release date, the developers may have to scramble to meet demand.
