The new Mortal Kombat 11 Summer Skin Pack has been revealed today by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios. The Summer Heat Skin Pack is the first of three upcoming skin packs for the game offered as part of the new Mortal Kombat 11 expansion titled Aftermath.
The Summer Heat Skin Pack features a unique summer-themed skin for three of the game’s most iconic characters. All three skins on the Summer Heat Pack will become available on August 6 for players who already own the expansion for the base game.
The first character skin included in the Summer Heat Pack belongs to Kitana. This outfit dons her with rural-style clothes from the Edenian, and it’s called the “Edenian Summer Kitana” skin.
The second skin included in the summer pack transforms Baraka into a deadly chef. This outfit comes complete with an apron, a cook’s hat, and a string of sausages that dangle from his shoulder. This outfit is called the “Off the Bone Baraka” skin.
Lastly, Erron Black gets a new patriotic ensemble in white, red and blue, with a stars and stripes motif present throughout the outfit. This new getup is called the “Fireworks Erron Black” skin.
The two remaining Skin Packs planned by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and NetherRealm Studios will release later in the year, following the Summer Heat Skin Pack. These new Skin Packs are the Klassic Femme Fatale Skin Pack, planned for release on August 25, and the All Hallows’ Eve Skin Pack, which will come out on October 8. At the time of writing, no further information has been revealed as to which specific skins each pack will contain, or which characters will be featured in either of them.
Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath features an all-new story arc where players will once again follow heroes and villains from the main story as they try to restore their timeline, or spell doom upon the world anew. Further, the expansion also includes Sheeva, Robocop and Fujin as the three new playable characters that join the game’s roster.
