Terraria Golden Shower | How to Get

The amount of weapons in Terraria is staggering. Players from all builds can find something that works for them. Whether it’s using melee, using guns, or even magic, there is a weapon for everyone. However, one of the most powerful weapons in the game is also one of the silliest, The Golden Shower.

How to Get the Golden Shower in Terraria

How to Craft Terraria's Golden Shower

To make the Golden Shower weapon, you’re going to need some items: a Spell Tome, 20 Ichor, and 15 Soul of the Night.

For the first item needed to craft the Golden Shower weapon, you’re going to need a Spell Tome. They can be purchased from the Wizard shopkeeper if you’ve got five gold coins. Once you’ve got the spell tome, you’re going to need 20 Ichor on PC and 30 if you’re playing on the 3DS version of the game. Ichor can be found from ichor stickers in the underground crimson biomes. Or, you can find them from Tainted Ghouls in underground desert biomes.

Lastly, you’re going to need 15 Soul of Night, which can only be found by killing most enemies in the underground corruption or crimson biomes. Once you’ve put together all the materials, head to a bookcase and craft the weapon.

Now that you have the Golden Shower weapon, you can fire a stream of Ichor at enemies, what makes this weapon so powerful is that it pierces through enemies as you lay down fire on them. This makes fighting large groups very easy with the power of this spell tome. Despite how silly you look, the Ichor will also illuminate the enemy in a gold aura. It cannot be used to light areas, as it’s a cosmetic look. But, it highlights enemies that need to be attacked for other people you might be playing with.

Have fun laying waste onto enemies with your funny, yet very powerful spell tome! For more on Terraria, be sure to check out the guides below:
