Wasteland 3 Controller Support | How to Fix

Due to its multi-platform release, a lot of Wasteland 3 players are wondering what type of controller support is available for the popular RPG series. After all, since the game has released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, it seems like players should be able to connect a controller to PC and play. However, is this possible? Let’s find out.

Does Wasteland 3 Have Controller Support

Yes, Wasteland 3 does offer controller support on PC and works with virtually any standard gaming controller. After connecting, if you’re having issues with the controls, you’ll need to go into the settings and change the configuration from “Mouse and Keyboard” to “Gamepad.” Once you do this, it should alleviate any issues you’re having with the controller.

Further, most any gaming controller should work with the game. Specifically, if you have an extra Xbox controller lying around and are tired of playing with a keyboard in mouse, try plugging that up. In the age of accessibility, it’s nice to see developers offering controller support for the game, especially since it’s already being released on consoles.

Additionally, speaking of Xbox, Wasteland 3 is currently available on Game Pass, so if you happen to be a subscriber be sure to give it a shot. Unfortunately, the game does not support cross-play between multiple platforms but does allow for multiplayer as long as it’s within the same platform family. So be sure to grab a few friends and try it out.

As you work your way through the game, you’ll be able to collect a variety of energy weapons that will go a long way towards helping you reach the level cap and shred your enemies. And if you’re a long time fan of the franchise, you can add custom portraits in the third installment as well.
