In Wasteland 3, players can increase their rank as they earn experience points, just like any true RPG. At the beginning of the game, players will start out as in Private First Class and can work their way through a handful of different ranks until they eventually reach the level cap. So, what is the max level in Wasteland 3?
What is the Level Cap in Wasteland 3
In Wasteland 3, the level cap is Rank 50 and is known as Lieutenant. To reach the max level, players will need to rack up an impressive 141,000 experience points. In all likelihood, as developers continue to provide support to the game, the max rank could increase. However, as of the launch version, you won’t be able to surpass Level 50.
If you’ve just downloaded the game on Xbox Game Pass, you may be wondering how to go about earning experience points in your efforts to reach the level cap. As with most any RPG, you’ll collect a fair amount of XP by completing quests, exploring new locations, and killing enemies. If you’re not in a hurry to reach the max level, you should be able to move up the ranks fairly quickly by simply playing the game on a regular basis.
Of course, if you’re in a rush, you can grind XP by repeatedly defeating low health enemies or working your way through various encounters. Honestly, the options here are endless. Simply find a feature within the game you enjoy (or can at least tolerate) and then repeat it over and over again to gain some quick experience. It may seem monotonous at first, but over time you should find yourself leveling up rather quickly.
Another option here could be to grind XP with a friend so it won’t be so boring. Unfortunately, there are currently no crossplay options at the time of writing, but you can always team up with Rangers on other platforms and work together to rank up to the level cap in Wasteland 3.
