Technically speaking, there is no highest round limit in Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War Zombies. You can keep playing indefinitely so long as you don’t die and the game doesn’t crash. However, as of December 2020, streamer FaZeBlaze managed to reach the highest round record yet with 328 completed rounds.

The Zombies mode has been a part of every game in the Black Ops series first appearing in Call of Duty: World at War. In this mode, players have to survive countless waves of zombies as they try to get the highest round possible. The fun really doesn’t end, since there’s no limit to the amount of rounds that you can survive — if you play smart.

This means that players can play Zombies until they get bored and decide to exfil, or when they’re finally overrun by the never-ending hordes. Or until the game crashes, obviously. Only a handful of players have reached over 200 rounds in Cold War Zombies, with many believing 256 was the upper limit. FaZeBlaze’s recent record proved that skilled players can reach well beyond that limit.

For everyone else, there is a new mode known as twenty round limit. This does have a limit, where players can only reach and beat round twenty. After this players are forced to exfil, whether they are ready or not.
