How to get the Bomb Bag in Zelda Skyward Sword HD

The bomb bag in Skyward Sword HD is inside a chest that can only be opened by slaying the two Lizalfos in the Earth Temple. This will occur once you arrive at Eldin Volcano. Bomb flowers will be everywhere, but you can’t store them in your inventory. You’ll first have to progress through Skyview Temple and collect the five Key Pieces that’ll gain entry into the Eldin Volcano. Upon arrival, speak with the grounded Ledd to start the bomb bag acquisition. Make your way through the area to find the Lizalfos, where the action will ensue and a bomb bag will be given to you.

After speaking with Ledd, crawl through the fence next to him and fight the Bokoblin. Once he’s dead, roll a bomb under the same fence to clear a rocky path. Doing so will open the way to the Lizalfos and their unique environment surrounded by lava. Defeating the slimy Lizalfos is an easy feat. They’re equipped with an arm-shield that is no match to your upward strike. This will knock them down, where you can then impale them for a finisher. A chest will appear, and opening it will reward you with the bomb bag.

Once you have it in your possession, return it to Ledd. He’ll comment on your quest to save your friend. At the end of the conversation, he’ll give you his bomb bag so that you can continue on your journey. Ledd’s a good man. You’ll see him again when you get to the Fire Sanctuary later on.

With the bomb bag, you’ll be able to store up to 10 bombs for now. There are upgradable options that’ll allow more storage, such as item exchange at Gondo’s Scrap Shop and in the Skyloft Bazaar. You can have up to 15 additional bombs if you choose to upgrade.
