GuideFall.com respects intellectual property rights. This policy explains how to report alleged copyright infringement and, where applicable, submit a counter-notification under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Copyright Contact
Send copyright notices and counter-notifications to:
- Email: info@guidefall.com
Use the subject line Copyright Notice – GuideFall.com or DMCA Counter-Notification – GuideFall.com, as appropriate.
Submitting a Copyright Notice
If you own the copyright or are authorized to act for its owner, your written notice should include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list if multiple works on this website are involved.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material and information sufficient to locate it, including the specific page URLs.
- Your contact information, including an address, telephone number, and email address if available.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
Consider whether a license or a legal exception permits the use before submitting a notice.
Review and Removal
We will review copyright notices and respond expeditiously to sufficiently supported claims, which may include removing material or disabling access. If information is missing, we may request clarification.
Where applicable, we will notify the person who supplied the material. Removal does not, by itself, establish that infringement occurred.
Counter-Notifications
If material you supplied was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and its previous location.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your address, or, if outside the United States, any judicial district where the service provider may be found.
- Your agreement to accept service of process from the original complainant or their agent.
Restoring Material
Where the DMCA counter-notification procedure applies, we will forward a valid counter-notification to the original complainant. Access will be restored within 10–14 business days after receipt unless we receive notice that the complainant has filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement.
Repeat Infringement
Where user accounts or contributor access are available, our policy is to terminate access in appropriate circumstances for repeat copyright infringement.
Information Sharing and Misrepresentations
Notices and counter-notifications may be shared with the parties involved or with advisers assisting in the process. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information.
Knowingly making material misrepresentations in a DMCA notice or counter-notification can result in liability under applicable law.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy as our procedures change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
